The Hybrid Gallery is proud to present a Comic and Graphic Narratives showcase, featuring the artwork of Jan Eliot alongside a group show of local artists and works on loan from private collectors.

The exhibition will include a panel discussion featuring:

- Kate Kelp-Stebbins, Ph.D., Director of Comics Studies at the University of Oregon.

- Andrea Gilroy, representing Books with Pictures, a local shop focusing on a curated stock of new comics and graphic novels that cater to women, kids, BIPOC, and the LGBTQ+ community.

- Jan Eliot, our featured artist and creator of the internationally syndicated comic strip Stone Soup. A graduate of the University of Oregon, Eliot’s work grew to 300 newspapers over 25 years.

The show runs March 19th through April 25th
