The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron is a highly regarded 12-week course designed to help people recover their creativity through practical exercises, aiming to overcome artistic blocks like fear, self-sabotage, and limiting beliefs.

This group is for you if…

…you’re addicted to your phone or social media and you want to disconnect.
…you’re convinced there’s more magic and whimsy in the world than you’re currently experiencing.
…you’re looking for a way to feed your soul in these crazy times.
…you struggle to choose rest and self-care.
…you’re a creative person but you get caught in the trap of perfectionism whenever you try to create.
…you’re an established artist who is struggling to connect to their sense of joy or wonder.
…you developed negative or limiting beliefs about yourself, your creativity or your artistic ability

This is a 12 week workshop, but a 13 week group. The first week will be a meet n greet, overview, and chance to ask questions.

Group size will be limited so register as soon as you can. (If you are planning to do drop in, please just register by paying for your first week.)

Mondays from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, beginning February 16th

Pricing:

• Weekly Drop In (BYO materials) $10-$15 each week

• Your favorite pen

Join us every second Thursday and fourth Thursday for a writer's group celebrating and uplifting queer voices. Each meeting will start with prompt to tap into creative energy, then a short sharing session, ending with gentle discussion on the joys and challenges of writing. Bring your poetry, short fiction, small chapters, or just ideas you'd like to share and expand on.
