Introducing Memberships
Have you noticed lately how the Hybrid is evolving? Creativity and Community have always been our guiding values but lately we've been doing things a little differently. We have decided to offer Eugene something that's we've been told is missing - a warm and welcoming third space that's open often, climate controlled, and welcoming to all, particularly marginalized communities such as queer and neurodivergent folks.
What exactly do we offer? We have board games, a VHS player (and tapes!), art supplies, and friendly faces here ready to hang or body double with you on a regular basis! We host art and writing workshops, gatherings, opportunities to show and sell art, a performance space, a supportive, community-focused weekly open mic, peer support groups, book clubs. We also offer an affordable, accessible rentable gathering space for private parties or fundraising events for your favorite cause.
Most of our offerings are low cost, accessible, and/or sliding scale. What is sliding scale? Sliding scale is a tool used to offer access to goods and services at multiple price points so that financial resourcing is not the deciding factor for access. Founding
Circle Members
There are two tiers available for the Founding Circle: Advisory Members and Patrons.
Patrons will have the opportunity to give in a way that supports our material needs without needing to be involved in the planning aspect. This would be perfect if you support our mission but don't have time to be boots on the ground.
Advisory Members will have the opportunity to be part of regularly scheduled strategy meetings and will help shape the future direction of the Hybrid.
We are looking for annual commitments for the Founding Circle but there are yearly, quarterly, and monthly payment options available.

Donate: Programming Support
There are many programming support funding opportunities available.
These are avenues to support specific things you like to do or experience at the Hybrid such as:
arts + crafts
performing arts
storytelling, books + writing
music
community focused gatherings
mind + body + spirit offerings.
Scholarship Fund
We are planning to launch a non-profit arm of the Hybrid in early 2027 that will help fund scholarships. This will enable us to provide low barrier access as well as pay instructors and facilitators fairly.

Volunteer at the Hybrid!
First and foremost, thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with The Hybrid!
The Hybrid is powered by community, and we're always looking for helping hands to make it all happen. Volunteering is a great way to support our mission while becoming part of a vibrant network of artists, organizers, friends, and neighbors.
The Hybrid Gallery is a venue, gallery, and creative space dedicated to expression in all its forms, including visual, literary, and performing arts. As a space for artists, by artists, we host workshops, local makers' markets, performances, open mics, and other opportunities to gather, collaborate, and build meaningful relationships. We strive to provide a low barrier, inclusive, and accessible environment that fosters creative culture and serves marginalized communities.
Because of the relationships we've built within our community, we're looking for volunteers who believe in our mission and want to help us continue creating a welcoming space for everyone.
Becoming a Volunteer
Our volunteer onboarding process has three simple steps:
Step 1: Complete the volunteer application.
Tell us a little about yourself, your interests, and your availability so we can connect you with volunteer opportunities that are a good fit.
Step 2: Review and welcome.
After we review your application, we'll send you a welcome email along with an invitation to attend a volunteer orientation. This gives us the opportunity to learn more about your goals while introducing you to our space, our mission, and the role volunteers play in keeping The Hybrid running.
Step 3: Attend volunteer orientation.
At orientation, you'll meet fellow volunteers, get to know the space, and learn about the different volunteer roles and shifts available. We'll make sure you have everything you need to feel comfortable and confident before signing up for your first shift.
Once you've completed all three steps, you'll be ready to sign up for volunteer shifts at upcoming events. Volunteering at The Hybrid is flexible. You choose the events and shifts that fit your schedule, whether that's once a month or every week.
For transparency, we are looking for volunteers 18+, and we will consider volunteers ages 16 and 17 on a case-by-case basis.
