Toni Nagy
Being with Toni Nagy is a lot like micro-dosing mushrooms, but then 1 hour later wondering, "wait... was that actually a macro-dose!?" Her BRAND NEW stand-up hour is a wild and raw journey of equal opportunity genital humor. This show is for anyone who wakes up in an existential crisis releasing a primal scream of "WTF!" Part of healing from late-stage capitalism is witnessing Toni in the flesh, light up our spirits. Toni’s comedy self-reflects in a funhouse of mirrors while bumping into cultural reflections. She aims to deconstruct society so we can build it back up together as a community. The audience will collectively come in unity at Toni's comedy, that is a guarantee.
Toni Nagy is a stand-up comedian, podcaster, and content creator most known for her viral videos where she interpretive dances her philosophies, spiritual curiosity, and political rants while pontificating, gyrating, and questioning culture. She penetrates consciousnesses and goes deep into your psyche. She has over 1 million followers across her social media platforms, not that she's counting or anything. Toni has been a nationally touring stand-up comic for the past decade. She takes her audiences on a wild ride of compassionate inquiry, radical self-reflection, and absurd metaphors. She says it all, baring her soul by stripping back all social convention. Toni believes authentic vulnerability is crucial to comedy as well as collective healing.
She is currently on tour with her one-person show “Men, Come Inside of Me,” a comedy show during which she embodies all the men that have come inside of her, both metaphorically and literally. Toni is also touring her show “Grape Culture,” - a tragic-comedy revealing (g)rape culture that undresses the consciousness of domination without consent, while stripping back the predatory and pervasive programming that is choking us all. Grape Culture was hosted by the Hollywood, Cannonball, and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals and just finished its off-Broadway run at the SoHo Playhouse. Toni also recently debuted her new stand-up hour “Pump Your Pelvis Against the Patriarchy” at Joe’s Pub in NYC.
Toni has two podcasts, “Come Inside of Me” and “Gnarly Girls.” She is also a somatic movement practitioner and has been bringing her workshops across the nation as she tours her comedy. Toni is the owner of SideStream studio where she teaches dance and somatic healing to help release trauma that is stored in the body while also connecting to your most wild, raw, creative self!!!
