Let’s Create!
Current Exhibition:
Arcana - Peter W. Harris
A review of works by Peter W. Harris for the “Gods of the Unknown” performance by the Wax Poetry Review. This show displays the Major Arcana as recreated by the artist, as well as a large selection of works that represent the process the artist has taken for this series. The works are centered on the idea of deciphering patterns in a random and chaotic world.
August 5th 2025 the Hybrid Gallery will be hosting a reception for Peter W. Harris featuring an artist talk giving background to the philosophy and approach of his works. Private Tarot Readings will be given by Katey Finley throughout the event. This event will be from 5pm-7pm.
We will also be a stop on the Whiteaker Last Friday ArtWalk on August 29th from 5pm-8pm. There will be a vinyl DJ set, Starry Bites food truck, a full bar and refreshments and a Whiteaker Community Market Pop up.
Our figure drawing sessions feature a body positive, inclusive setting with diverse models representing an array of body types.
Models may be nude or clothed according to their comfort level.
A full bar (with non alcoholic options) will be on offer and these sessions will be open to people 18 and over.
Please bring your own materials. We will have limited easels and drawing boards available, so come early to have a drink, chat with your friends, and claim your spot. Doors open at 5:30 PM, drawing begins at 6:00 PM.
Check our schedule of events to find out when the next session is.
If you are interested in modeling, please reach out to art@thehybridgallery.com.
Join Mikalina (@the_moon_remembers) and Gloria (@queenofheartsgallery) for two hours of low-stakes, open-ended creative process time in a facilitated community setting.
All materials will be provided. Suggested donation for materials and facilitation: $10 per adult. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Each Creativity Cafe will have accessible and open ended themes and activities to serve as a jumping off point. Participants will be guided in a way that helps us open to exploration, experimentation, process, and expression rather than focusing on trying to achieve a particular outcome or end product.
We’ll lower the stakes, loosen up, and remember that play is the origin of the creative impulse. Attendees are not required to do the activity of the day, feel free to come on in to create what is calling you.
Humans of all ages are welcome to join. Kids must have an adult present.
